Natalia had travelled down the night before and stayed nearby, so when I got off the train from London, I jumped in a cab and headed to the hotel to pick her up. While waiting for her to come down from her room, some American guests at the hotel were outside having a smoke. I have to say that their heads turned as Natalia walked out, greeted us, and got into the cab. As the cab driver put her case in the trunk, all that attention put a cheeky smile on my face. [Just out of curiosity, if you have a cheeky smile on your face, is that not redundant? We’ve never understood that expression. On the other hand, it is British. So there’s that.]
After we arrived at the location, I tipped the cab driver a few extra pounds since he’d been good, and as both myself and Natalia walked away I swear I heard him say, "Have a good time.” I don’t know what he thought was happening, but, hey, it was a sunny day, and so far everything was running smoothly, so I was in fact having a good time. [Yeah, he was probably commenting on the weather.] I’d be taking pictures and filming a porn star for the next few hours too. We’d hoped there wouldn’t be workmen in the parking lot behind the location, but somehow there managed to be some there on this day! Luckily, I would think ahead and we’d have Natalia take two outfits up to the first set so she didn’t have to give the workmen an eyeful of her figure walking down the stairs. [So, um, brining all your clothes to the shoot at one time requires noteworthy forethought? … See how disorienting beautiful women can be? It’s a wonder we men have managed to survive at all.]
With the paperwork out of the way, we jumped straight into the shoot. For the first set Natalia posed next to the rapidly becoming infamous Playboy pinball machine they had at the location. [Personally I have always aspired to rapidly become infamous. One needs to have goals, after all.] We did our usual couple of BTS questions just before and discovered an interesting fact in that Natalie goes commando both bottom and top. [They have to ask questions to deduce that the woman shuns underwear? Gee. They were discombobulated.] Naturally we made a mental note to stand next to her the next time when was cold outside.
With the Kodak Zi8’s set up to record our “Cam Show” we shot the first set with Natalia in pink hot pants and a similar colour bra. [See how we are? We find a lovely woman that doesn’t wear underwear, and we ask her to put some on. … This can be a very strange job] Now, we thought Tanya Cox could bang out a set of still pictures quickly, but Natalia surpassed even those expectations, hitting poses that our camera was loving! [Hey, as long as you keep the camera happy … .] As it happens, one of the reasons Natalia stays in very high demand is that she books a lot of shoot days with photographers all over Europe . Some weeks she can be in Holland for a few days, Spain the next, and then back to the UK. [Wow. Sometimes just making it to the kitchen to make a sandwich can be a daunting proposition around here.]
