Well, she’s back! It has taken us just over four years, but we managed to get Cate Harrington in front of our cameras again — and this time in a studio of all places! [Having seen Cate it would seem prudent to simply put the cameras any darned place she chooses. Try not to argue with pretty women if you can avoid it: They might not get naked for you later, and that would be very sad.]
We’ve kept in touch with Cate ever since one of our first professional shoots back in the mists of time (April 2008), and noticed she’d been doing some shoots on and off again these days. Of course we follow her on Twitter, and we even got her to do our first segment for our new “The Interview” section. Then a wild thought crossed our photographer’s mind. Could we get Cate back in front of our cameras? [I’m not sure I would personally categorize that as a “wild” idea, but it certainly seems an excellent one.]
We chatted back and forth with Cate to see if we could agree on a location as well as the type of content we could shoot with her. She was only doing glamour style shoots and wasn’t traveling far from her home, but we had a place to begin. After doing some research we found a studio in the middle of England called Bodyline. Cate had worked there before, she said, but not for a long time. So we agreed on the location and limiting our shoot up to her current work level of glamour. [Odd, probably, how people in different walks of life define terms like “glamour” don’t you think?]
Although we were still a few weeks away from the shoot, we looked at the Bodyline website. Obviously we wanted to work out with Cate what outfits she already owned that might work with the sets they had built. We put together a guide to the sets and content we wanted to shoot. Cate agreed and then said since I was shooting up to glamour with her she’d agree to go "up to toys" since she knew us and trusted us. See, it pays to be nice to people. We booked the studio, agreed upon a fee with Cate and booked our train ticket in advance. Now we just had to wait to the day of the shoot — oh, and work out how to shoot in a studio on our first visit to the spot. No pressure then. [Amazing how much work men will go to in order to see women masturbate, when you think about it.]
